English Language Tuition at your Homestay

About your teacher….

Kate, your English language teacher has 15 years' English teaching experience in both Japan and the UK. She enjoys sports, hill-walking and dancing but her passion is cooking and enjoying good food!

Kate has taught Conversational English, Business English and Exam Preparation to students of all ages and has worked at the Berlitz School of Languages as well as at various schools, colleges and businesses (including 8 years in Japan.)

She also works as a freelance Japanese / English translator.

Kate genuinely cares about her students and helping them to improve their English language.

This wide experience helps her to bring a unique and flexible approach to her teaching style so that she can create a lesson plan suited to your needs and to help you to learn as much English as possible during your homestay.

 

Length of Study.

How much English study you undertake during your homestay depends on you.

We suggest that students take between 2 -3 hours of English tuition each morning, although the length of study can be adjusted to meet the needs of each student.

Some guests prefer to study English through learning how to cook or to play golf - the choice is yours!

After lessons we will spend the afternoon visiting the local area where you will be able to practice to Speak English.
